Steffen Eckart, the Associate Director, Recruiting & Training Administration at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., is globally-minded Human Resources professional who aspires to support the development and sustained success of businesses in Asia. Before joining Takeda Pharmaceutical, Eckart was the Vice President, HCM Strategy and Management at Goldman Sachs. He has also been the Vice President, Tokyo Head of Campus Recruiting and Associate/Vice President, Human Resources Generalist at Goldman Sachs, plus he has worked as an Associate in different domains here.

Prior to this, Eckart was the Corporate Consultant at ALC Education, Inc., and an English Instructor at NOVA Intercultural Institute.

Eckart is a Member of the Board of Deutsche Schule Kobe European School. He holds his master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Monterey Institute of International Studies.
