Carlos Rivero is Chief Talent Officer at Marsh and McLennan Companies. In this role, Carlos focuses his efforts on enterprise leadership and talent development, performance management, learning and training, and succession planning. Carlos is a member of the MMC HR Leadership Team.
Previously Carlos was with Accenture, where he most recently served as Executive Partner, consulting to Fortune 500 CEOs and senior executives to help them maximize individual and team performance, create high-performance cultures, build strong leadership succession pipelines and effectively lead and implement organizational change.
Prior to joining Accenture, Carlos spent 10 years with Marsh & McLennan Companies, holding a number of leadership and senior consulting positions within Mercer and Oliver Wyman.
Carlos is published in the areas of executive team effectiveness, CEO evaluation, succession planning, and managerial judgment and decision making.
Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University, and has served on the faculty of Columbia University and George Washington University.
