Brian Poland, Director of Lifelong Learning and Talent Development at Walmart, develops accreditation and articulation strategies to drive maximum college credit with higher education partners and national accreditation partners. During his tenure at Walmart, he has served as the Senior Director, Talent Development – Education; Senior Director, Talent Development; Senior Director, Talent Planning & Wal-Mart University; Director, Field Learning & Development, Wal-Mart University; Director, Talent Planning, Wal-Mart University; and the Director, Customer Initiatives. He joined Walmart as an Assistant Store Manager and then worked as an Instructional Designer and Manager of Leader. He has been awarded WalMart Top Performer award while he was working with Walmart.

However, for a tenure of two years, he moved to SAM'S Club as the Manager for Associate Development.

Brian is an MBA from Missouri State University and holds his BSBA in Marketing/Management & Econ/Finance from Missouri Southern State University.
