Joe Tria has been Chief Learning and Leadership Officer of Grant Thornton LLP since August 2015. In his new role, Tria leads Learning and Organizational Effectiveness, Grant Thornton’s learning, development, performance and succession management function, where he is focused on performance management evolution and partner succession.
Most recently, Tria served as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Relationship Director of partner and leadership development, where he was instrumental in modernizing PricewaterhouseCoopers’s thinking and approach to learning and leadership advancements, as well as performance management. He was also the architect of PwC’s professional skills development strategy, competency development and essential programs that developed brand strategy and achieved growth and profitability for the firm.
Previously, he served as Chief Learning Officer of Rockwell Automation Inc. Tria received a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychology from Illinois State University.
