Soni Basi, Ph.D., the Vice President, Global Learning & Talent Development at the Estée Lauder Companies Inc., built the company's first ever global performance management process (including calibration, performance improvement, and a distribution alignment discussion with the CEO). In addition, Soni standardized and globalized the Talent Management processes, which include over 6,000 employees.

Soni has also been the Principal at Ignite Knowledge Partners, LLC, where she chose to specialize in partnering with senior HR business leaders on the research, design, and implementation of Global Learning & Development, Global Organizational Effectiveness, and HR Generalist programs and initiatives.

Previously, Soni was the Director, Global Learning & Development at Merck (Previously a part of Schering-Plough). She has also been the Executive Director at ISR (International Survey Research).

Soni is a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Bowling Green State University. She has also done her bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
