Gale has held a number of positions within Ford, including Director, Human Resources for Ford of Mexico where she was responsible for human resources operations across all plants and corporate offices. She also held the position of Director, Negotiations Planning and Global Labor Strategy, during which time she was responsible for laying the foundation for coordinating 2011 collective bargaining with the United Auto Workers. Since joining Ford, Gale has held a variety of leadership positions in human resources throughout the company, including Director, NA Ford Credit; Site Manager, Cleveland Engine Plants 1 and 2, as well as the Cleveland Casting Plant; and has worked in functions such as Manufacturing, Ford Production Standards Corporate Staff (lean manufacturing) Finance and the Corporate Diversity and Worklife Office.
Prior to joining Ford, Gale worked for the Pepsi Bottling Company as a Regional Human Resource Manager, responsible for contract negotiations, strike avoidance and management, recruitment, compensation, and all salaried processes.
Gale earned a master's degree in labor and industrial relations from Michigan State University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
